What ‘Work and Smile’ Means To Me

“Work and Smile” certainly has a different meaning for each individual, making its vision and expression more special and personal, which is beautiful.

For Me (Personal), it has always been about fulfilment and satisfaction and loving what you do daily. If you love your work and job at the same time, it will certainly make you smile, and in this competitive world, being able to find happiness both professionally and personally is not easy especially given the demand and expectations. So having a job that allows you to be challenged professionally while being equally passionate and happy is a very special moment.

For We (Team), it’s about creating opportunities for our staff across the APAC region to challenge themselves professionally, having the flexibility to stretch themselves and learn new things. Closing the first US CEO role? Working on roles in the Middle East? Managing regional teams? Multi-country leader? The opportunities are endless within our group, which I am very confident none of the other competitors can provide.

For Us (Family), it’s about work vs life balance. I’ve always believed in the philosophy and concept that work is your life, and life is your work, and having an opportunity to balance your career and family is very meaningful to me, especially being on the road 50-60% of the time. I truly believe that work flexibility is important and special to those with a family and individuals who consistently maintain a high-performance standard, allowing them to work from a beach in Bali or the streets of Champs-Elysees, Paris. But if one cannot maintain this high standard, perhaps it’s not for everyone.

For All of Us (Community), it’s about giving back to society. We have done this spontaneously in the past; however, we intend to spend more time focusing on this social responsibility during the next few years, as it is a critical part of our vision and a contribution that should never be taken for granted.

Let’s Work and Smile, and share this amazing vision with all!
